Découvert hier soir alors que j'y amenais des flyers, l'Ogresse est un chouette lieu, situé à 2 pas de la Flèche d'Or, au 4 rue des Prairies 20ème, métro Gambetta.
Nous allons y jouer le jeudi 17 février avec nos amis de Long John Silver.

We're back to playing live, it's been a long time as we focused since this summer on the making of the album and managing how to play the new songs.
Our good friends Long John Silver proposed us to join the bill on february the 21th, for a gig @ Cariatides. They're a great guitars duo, playing a dirty folk blues with catchy melodies.
We're happy to share this concert with Sergeant Buzfuz again, with who we played before, in Amiens, Paris and twice in London.
Our first gig in London took place at the 12 Bar Club, located in a 17th century building where it served as a stable before being converted into a forge, still behind the stage.
We keep a very good memory of that night, it was great to play in Denmark Street, where the Sex Pistols rehearsed and where Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles made their first recordings.
Buzfuz played that night with his full band, wich are all talented musicians. Check their records !
Chris Olley was headlining on that gig, I was looking for it as I used to listen to Six by Seven in the 90's and saw one of their last gig, at the Trabendo with Rival Schools as the opening act.
His 12 Bar Club gig was intense, that guy knows how to bring you into his world.
When we decided to record our album, the best thing to do was to do it from home so we could take time to work on our sound and let our songs breathe. We're lucky enough to have our own little studio and all the work and practice gets done there. After buying all the recording equipement we took our time working on it a little here and there, from april to july 2010. Dinny
Je jouais avant dans Uneven, nous avions eu la chance de tourner avec Baby Chaos (qui avaient changé de nom pour Deckard) puis de rester en contact avec le groupe. Le chanteur Chris, avait proposé d'enregistrer et mixer notre deuxième album. Il avait pris le temps de comprendre le sens de notre musique (c'était pas trop dur non plus, vu que la power pop ça le connaissait un peu...) et avait fait du très bon boulot.
Lorsque l'album de Reipas fut complètement enregistré, nous lui avons demandé s'il voulait mixer les 11 titres. Il ne connaissait pas notre musique et devait travailler sur des pistes qu'il n'avait pas enregistrées, mais je savais qu'il aurait de bonnes idées. Nous sommes allés à Glasgow récemment pour finir le mix et ajuster les niveaux. Le résultat dépasse ce que nous espérions et je suis fier de cet enregistrement, aboutissement de 2 années de travail intense (garanti sans auto-tune !)
Le disque sortira prochainement, on ne sait pas encore comment mais nous y travaillons ! Guillaume
